Women’s beach soccer continues to gather momentum in Uganda with the End of Year Women Beach Soccer Festival.
The fourth edition of the annual championship is scheduled for Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at Samaki beach in Busabala, Kampala – with kick-off set at 11am.
Four teams – Lubiri Falcon Ladies, Kampala Junior Team Ladies, Mpata Ladies, and defending champions Prison Ladies have confirmed their participation in this year’s tournament.
Although only four teams have so far been cleared to take part in the festival at the time of writing, there is a bulk of other teams jostling to meet the requirements in time before tomorrow’s deadline for registration.
For this edition, fans will be charged an entrance fee of just five thousand Uganda shillings (5,000/=), and this comes with a soft drink (soda) of their choice.
The competition acts as one of the springboards for the development of women’s beach soccer in the country.
