It was one of the most intense and thrilling game ever to be played in the league for as long as one can remember.

The game swung from side to side, and each team looked like winning it.

St. Lawrence took a 4-1 advantage in the first period, only for the Sand Kings to turn the tables with an electrifying fight back that resulted in Nicholas Mwere scoring eight goals.

Before his rousing performance, Baker Lukooya and Ronald Magwali stared with a brace each in the opening twelve minutes, while Brian Nkuubi and Allan Katwe also scored as the Saints remained in control but with a slim 6-5 lead before the second break.

By this moment, Mwere had scored five goals spread across the two periods.
